Errika Zacharopoulou, EEZ, is a film and photography artist, focusing on the poetic interpretation of moving and still image.
Through her visual and written language, she expresses her perception of balance between art, words and ideas. The basic premise of her work is based on experimenting with the experience of reality and fantasy, hoping to recreate feelings and memories.
Errika grew up in Athens, Greece and studied Film and Television Production at the University of York (UK), Fashion Photography at Central Saint Martins in London and (MSc) Film Curation at the University of Glasgow. She is currently based in Glasgow where she is involved with festivals such as Glasgow Short Film Festival and Glasgow Feminist Arts Festival. Her work also includes collaborations with the Aegean Film Festival, as a Submissions and Programming Coordinator.
In the meanwhile she works as freelance film and photography artist accepting commissions. Some of her works include collaborations with Yon Magazine, Slow Food Glasgow and other freelance artists.
