Errika Zacharopoulou, EEZ, is a film curator and artist, focusing on the poetic interpretation of moving image and the creation emerging cinematic experiences.
Through her visual language, she expresses her perception of balance between art film and audience engagement. The basic premise of her work is based on experimenting with the experience of reality and fantasy, hoping to recreate feelings and memories.
Errika grew up in Athens, Greece and studied Film and Television Production at the University of York (UK), Fashion Photography at Central Saint Martins in London and (MSc) Film Curation at the University of Glasgow. She is currently based in Glasgow where she is the Co-Director of Glasgow Feminist Arts Festival and a Member of the Selection Team at Glasgow Short Film Festival. Her work also includes collaborations with The Aegean Film Festival, as the Programming Coordinator and Short Film Programmer.
In the meanwhile Errika works as a freelance film and photography artist collaborating with young creators. Her work includes collaborations with Yon Magazine, Slow Food Glasgow and other freelance artists in the fashion and music industry.
